Just to let any of you know who might be interested that www.janedebono.com and www.sexyhooligan.com have renamed their studio “Queens of Ink Studio” and are taking part in London open studio day on 1st September – there will be lots of fab stuff to buy so come down and celebrate with us on our first open studio day.

We will have a little area especially dedicated to displaying our products, where you can have a little browse through our current collections, samples, end of line stock and snap up a few bargains.

Over the years, we have built up a huge amount of fabric samples, trims, leather off cuts and other various supplies- we don’t need them so over the next few months we will be bagging it all up and selling at silly prices starting from £1.

Blitz Vintage Department Store- Launch Party

We are very excited about the big new vintage store that has opened across the road from our Queens of Ink studio. Blitz Department store has 5 rooms stocked full with A-grade vintage garments, records, furniture and books.  It also has it’s very own cafe, which we look forward to sipping many cups of coffee on our break times.

On Thursday, 1st September, Blitz will be holding their launch party at the same time as our open studio day, along with Next Level Magazine Gallery, for the preview to celebrate the opening of Tuomo Rainio: Video Works, which will take place in our court yard, 60 Hanbury Street, London, E1 5JL.  Doors open at 6.30 to 8.30.

Well, here we are, working away in our little studio on Hanbury Street.  We are very excited to announce that after 3 long years hiding away we’ve finally decided to keep it tidy enough for you to take a sneak peek at what we do and where we do it!

This weekend we will be keeping it local and heading to Churchfields Junior School Summer Fete. Every year they put on a delightful display of entertainment, amongst games, donkey rides, inflatable castles, face-painting and the usual merriment; there will also be a book fair, arts and craft stalls selling their wares- Including us!  This is a time for local businesses to make themselves known, so if you live close please feel free to stop by and have a browse.  Visit our stall and snap up some special offers and discount vouchers for our online-shop.  Churchfields School will also be holding a fundraiser selling raffles tickets for prizes- We have donated this lovely leather Jungle print cushion worth £55.

Once again I’ve decided to keep the Valerie black leather cosmetic bag a firm staple. However, unlike last season, I decided to tweak the shape a little, making it that bit bigger.  So now you can stuff a few more shades of lippy inside, or whatever else you can’t leave the house without.
