About
History
Textile Designer, Jane de Bono has been making handmade, screen-printed leather accessories, homeware and reclaimed clothing since 1999. From her studio in Spitalfields London, she has worked on various commissions and often collaborates with other designers, artists and stylists. Jane trained as a stylist at The London College of Fashion and then went on to achieve a Bachelor of Arts in Printed Textiles. During her studies she began selling her designs in New York, Milan and Tokyo. Her dream was to run her own company and a year after graduating she set-up her first print studio in Hackney.

Mission Statement
All our leathers and linens are hand-printed individually, making each item unique. The nature of hand printed textiles is to celebrate its crudeness as opposed to mass-production prints. We really do strive to keep all our products as un-uniform as possible and all our ideas as homespun as we can. We will play our part by keeping all our printing here in the UK and do our very best in sourcing materials and manufacturers locally. The designer’s team of helpers and all the craft-makers behind the label feel the importance to keep traditional crafts and production close to home. Part of our mission is to revive an industry here in the UK that has long suffered the repercussions of overseas manufacturing.
